Hello

i have a quick question. i am in need of a new hard drive and am looking at the Seagate Barracuda 7200.7.
_____This drive is an Ultra ATA/100, does the Dual G4 867MHz MDD support ultra ATA/100, i have looked around and could not find an answer._

Has anybody tried the seagate drives?
are they good?

Thanks for the help

if my computer will not support the Ultra ATA/100 drives what do you suggest getting. I am looking for a 160-200GB drive for only Video Editing.

At this point in time i am not ready to use a SCSI Hard drive setup
UNLESS!!! it is really fast and easy to hook up and will not cost me much more then the ATA/100 setup

thanks for the help

Steve

I think every new/old Mac with DDR memory supports ATA/100 -- part of the new chipset.
