Hey folks..
I am trying to set up the C64 database GameBase64. First step is to download the database and frontend from this site:
http://art.gen.nz/gamebase64/
I downloaded the file gb64.sit from there (1.6Mb), but when extracted, only the database files are there. No binary files whatsoever!!?!? WTF?? 😕
Can someone help me with this? Where do I get the binary/binaries for Mac?
EDIT: I'm not that good at the Terminal yet, but I managed to get to where I extracted the contents of the gb64.sit file, and there seems to be more files than I can see in Finder. Why can't I see all files in Finder?
EDIT 2: I tried to restart the system, to see if the files became visible. And yay..! Suddenly I can view the files in Finder.. Can someone explain this? Why is OS X like this? It shouldn't require a restart of the system in order to view certain files..
