That was quite funny, and smart of the OP to include in his auction. :D :)

I don't have a buy it now because I don't know the value of the iBook, I've effectively thrown it on ebay and whatever it gets is whatever it gets.
Thanks for the clarification Ed H. My brain is frazzled this afternoon with university.

I need to sell my iBook ASAP- before it goes down in value. Too bad I don't have enough of a rep. on eBay for people to trust me...

Did he get a good deal, though. Or even a half-way decent deal?

I paid £460 for a 1.5Ghz PB with Airport, 80GB HD, 768megs of RAM, Tiger, and extra battery (which needed replacing btw, so a new one is in the post) and a brand new screen.
I already had a 1GB DIMM for the machine as well which was taken out of the iBook so this thing rocks. My iBook at best got a score of 33 on xbench, this PB can get 51 and I've not upgraded the hard drive to a 7200 rpm model yet, on my ibook this added 5 points to the score! I know its old technology now but Apple don't do 12" screens and I saw this as my last chance (for now) to own a 12" PB with some power. I hope to keep it for a few years to come.
At the point when I bought it, I didn't have Tiger either so was happy with getting it as a bonus with the PB.

what crap i need over 100 post to start a thread in MP. uggg all i want is some RAM
The 100 posts restriction serves a purpose, its so people actually either discuss or do a search for a general query, you do know that loads of people register, post a question (which has been posted 100 times already) then leave. On a positive side, it forces the poster to stick around for a while, new blood and all.
