I received this bag almost a year ago as a gift in anticipation of a planned trip abroad. The trip never materialized and the backpack has been sitting in my closet, just waiting to be taken on vacation. I don't forsee a trip for myself anytime soon (not until school is finished) so it's time to sell!

If you don't know, this is a huge backpack capable capable of holding up to a 17-inch laptop (also known these days as a notebook!) as well as two SLR bodies and assorted lenses and accessories. The backpack is out of its original plastic wrapping, but has yet to leave my house. It's in perfect condition with all zippers fully functional as well as the tripod holder, the rain cover, and the zippered cable pouches.

Here are the specifications directly from Lowepro:

Capacity: Notebook computer (up to 17" screen); Pro digital SLR; 35 mm or compact medium format system, 4-5 lenses (up to 400mm f/2.8); flash and accessories

Size (Main): 13W x 5.3D x 18.9H in. / 33 x 13.5 x 48 cm

Size (Notebook): 11.6W x 1.9D x 18.7H in. / 29.5 x 4.8 x 47.5 cm

Outer fabric:

600D TXP™

see: Lowepro's site for more information and pictures of the backpack. (http://www.lowepro.com/Products/Backpacks/notebook_camera/CompuTrekker_Plus_AW.aspx)

Contact me with any questions or picture requests. Thanks!

edit: The price quote is for the United States only.

Also, will entertain trade offers as well. I realize that this is sort of a niche item (really appropriate for journalist types/travelers) so it will be going on ebay this week. Contact me with any questions!

I'd just like to ask where you were in August when I was looking?! And two...this is a most awesome backpack and IS airplane carry-on approved if anyone cares.

Even if you don't have enough gear to fill it now, this is something any photographer with a laptop should consider...even without a laptop the laptop compartment makes nice nice for extra stuff.

Hope you don't mind me popping in.
