How do you create a virtual drive to play games that requires the disc to play? I don't want to be dragging around my dvd's whenever I travel.

The only games I have that require the CD or DVD to remain in the drive are Windows games. I use Farstone's Virtual Drive to eliminate the CD/DVD requirement in Windows. I'm not familiar with an OS/X version of this product though.

So does that mean all Mac version of the games do not require the disc to play? Sounds good then.

No, there's some. Neverwinter Nights, for instance.
I'm trying to remember, I think I just went to the Disk Utility in the Applications/Utilities folder and created a CD-sized image. Then I dragged everything over.

Cool, so if I use Disk Utility then the game doesn't need the disc in the drive anymore?

Well, with Starcraft, I tried the Disk Utility route, and it recognizes that it's *not* a physical CD, so no go on some games at least. I'll have to have a look around the web to see if there's a better way of doing it...
