i saw in another thread that thanks to 10.2.5, M$ bluetooth mice work now. my friend has a M$ wireless intellimouse explorer for bluetooth mouse, which he is willing to sell to me. however, i don't know if it'll work on my iMac. On the microshaft page, it says you need windows xp. why? is it a driver thing? also, he doesnt have the bluetooth adapter that went with it. will any bluetooth adapter do? or is it some proprietary M$ bluetooth technology. if anyone who has this mouse or knows anything abou it can help, it'd be great.

here's the mouse:

not sure about having microsofts bluetooth, but i dount you need it. just get the dlink and im sure it worked. my friend said if he hears of one more person getting it to work he will go buy it again. he said it was the best feeling mouse he had ever felt.

it really is a nice mouse, but i don't want to buy it and the adapter if it's not going to. i don't see any reason why it shouldn't.

Update: 10.2.5 includes the necessary HID support for the mouse.

10.2.5 = works

10.2.4 = doesn't work

2 months ago = 10.2.4

:rolleyes:

Digital hub and disc burning

Bluetooth Setup Assistant now works with certain Microsoft keyboards and mouse devices.

-There ya go... Straight from the Knowledge Base... Sorry for the confusion. There is only one Bluetooth keyboard and mouse available from Microsoft, so you have the answer now, and I am going to head down to Best Buy and pick one up. :D
