Hello

I have two hard drives I'm thinking of getting selling. Both are 250GB SATA drives. One is the original drive that came with my Dual 2.7, and the other is a Maxtor with 16MB cache. Both drives are 7200RPM and S.M.A.R.T. verified.

Asking $80 plus shipping OBO. Please let me know if you are interested.

- Rick

$100for both or $100 for a single drive? If the former (for both), I'll take em! Even for one I'm considering....What's the brand on the original apple drive? Thanks!

$80 for each (new price).

The original drive is a Western Digital "WDC WD2500JD-41HBC0"

It would be OBO of course, but before I look at selling I need to take a trip down to the computer store to look for a couple of drives which will replace these two. So, if you choose, make me an offer via PM, I will consider it and get back to you.

I don't mean to rain on your parade, but I would never pay anywhere close to that much for a 250GB hard drive, even if they were new, which yours aren't. You can get a 400GB Seagate drive for $99 shipped, brand new with a 5-year warranty, right now from Outpost.com. Brand new 250s are going for less than $70 on NewEgg. I'd probably be interested if I could get one for $50 shipped.

Can you give me a link for that? That sounds like something I'd like to get in on!

^ Yeah that's the one. I ordered one myself. Great drive. But let's talk about it somewhere else (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?p=2945954).

Rick, I didn't mean for your thread to get hijacked, I only posted my thoughts about the price because it said "Feeler". Sorry about this.
