Mac and PC Internet Sharing

Is this (http://www.staples.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/StaplesProductDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=10051&langId=-1&productId=16772&cmArea=SEARCH) what I need to share my cable modem connection (wired) between a Win XP machine and a G3 iMac running Panther?

Sorry switches, hubs, routers get me very confused.

There is nothing in that link. All you need is a router...I would suggest you getting a linksys wireless G router because you have the option of wired/wireless and you never know when it might come in handy:)
