My roommate watches this channel like all day long...

Seriously, this has to be the most pointless worthless cable channel ever in history. It seems like the entire programming block is devoted to shows with broke, out of work actors and actresses whose times have passed making fun of everybody, often people who are much more famous and make much more money and are much better contributions to the world.

How can a channel sustain itself when it is completely devoted to this crap?

Some of this Celebrity stalking they're doing is just down-right creepy. That fabulous life show, every single episode is identical how can anybody get excited watching that? Every announcement is exactly the same like "P Diddy doesn't just buy cars, he buought a whole car dealership"... what am I supposed to overcome myself with flustered joy at how rich celebrities live?

God I hate it someone make it stop!!!

LOL

ya VH1 is annoying, at least I remember it being annoying when I lived in the US, good to see things haven't changed..

But, in their defense it's a brilliant way to make money, they don't even have to really do anything. They just clip together old shots and interviews, hire a few low budget comedians to make fun of stuff and that's it..

and people watch it.

easy.

I'm pretty sure that's reserved for both MTV and the Soap Channel. ;)

ummm...I wasted a good couple of hours of sleep watching "The Flavor of Love 2." I guess I'm contributing to the problem. (: Hehehe. Sorry about that!

VH1 and MTV are both owned by the same parent corporation. Channels like that are the proof that the brain does more work when sleeping than while watching TV.

The programming schedule in this room is seriously like 23 hours a day of his VH1, and one hour a day of my news, lol.

wow i feel bad for you, i'd wear ear plugs or something

The biggest problem is not only does VH1 play merely that crap but it's repeated over and over again the same episodes. It's bad enough to be suffering through it once, then to have to go through it the next day, oy.

mtv is about 1000x worse, but mtv bought vh1 a few years ago, if that tells you anything.

MTV also owns Nickelodeon too, well the parent company Viacom but it is considered an MTV Network.

VH1 is one of the best channels on television. If I had more time I would watch it all day long! Flavor of Love was my second favorite show of the entire year (behind American Idol). It might be pointless and ridiculous, but that is the POINT. It takes my mind off my own problems and makes me laugh so I have to say it does ME a lot of good!

Again, Flavor of Love with Flavor Flav, did no one on here watch it??!! You missed out for sure! OMG, that New York chick is hilarious!!! I heard she is getting her own reality show on VH1!!! Awesome! :)

Who wants to watch a bunch of videos of terrible music?? Geez, these days I can only listen to a song on the radio like 5 times before I am sick of it. THE TV SHOWS are WAY BETTER and MORE entertaining than music videos!

VH1 Classic actually plays videos. "The Alternative" is a show worth checking out: get your fill of old Siouxsie and the Banshees vids! :D

You know, there is an edit button so you don't have to post three consecutive times in under 15 minutes.

And no, NONE of the greatest moments of TV history have been on VH1.

Hey, when I was 9, where else could I go to get my fixin' of Phil Collins, Abba, and other strangely soft po/rock? :D

I guess we have massively different opinions of what "fun" is. Fun to me is not watching TV. Only stuff I ever watch on TV is the news, Overhaulin', and Nip/Tuck.

Sorry, I guess I am the only one that I got a few laughs from the show.:)The only train wreck of a show that I laughed at was the Anna Nicole something or other. The problem with "reality TV" if you can call it that with "celebrities" is that its so stupid and it hurts my brain trying to watch it. I don't care to see washed up actors that were no good then get a second chance at fame. Remember the VH stands for Video Hits.

I love VH1 Classic, last night they were showing, "Classic Albums Dark Side Of The Moon". That is good TV not Flava Flav.
