Hmmm, gettin close to an hour. And it says the store should be back within the hour. So I hope we find out soon. Updates would be nice, although I can afford nothing in my current finaicial state.

I think they say that everytime though, it looks like just the page that they put up when they're working on that part of the site.

Definitely looks like something is up. I guess I won't know what it is until morning though as it's time for me to go to bed. Apple should market there own brand of sleeping pills or alcohol or something to aid in sleeping around the time of new announcements.:)

This is probably just a coincidence and it's on such minor things but there was a promotion date at Apple that coincided with 04/13/2003 which is today.

I'm not reaching here just pointing out an odd coincidence.

Hey,
Was the Government tag (in the top bar) there before? I don't remember it, but I very rarely visit the US Store, being myself in the UK.
Hope everyones well!

Dang, my first post in ages and I appear to have ruined my reputation :) Oh well, thats life! Better move on!
I haven't noticed any other changes, maybe if they want to implement a new music section, they will have to modify the software running the store, to accept this kind of downloadable material.

I don't understand why everyone got so excited.
I thought everyone knew Saturday night/Sunday morning is downtime for the Apple Store's weekly maintenance.
Now, if it's down on a Monday night/Tuesday morning, then we have a reason to be excited.

Actually, it does. It's part of their weekly server maintenance. I'd hate to think how bad things would be if they only performed maintenance once a month.
