I'd buy both the Xbox 360 Premium and the 600 dollar Playstation 3.

I can just get my brother to rent the games as he works at a Hollywood Video and gets free rentals.

say a guy showed up at your house and said, you won! now pick your prize, an xbox 360, wii, or ps3.

i'll admit the non price issue really was trying to sway me but i still would probably go with the wii.

if i had the $1000 to spend that i had to spend on a console I'd get a wii and a 360. still plenty left for games.

I dislike consoles, never owned one abd never will, but if I were to choose from those consoles, I'd probablt take PS3, just because of Unreal Tournament 2007.

The PS3 is overkill imo at its price. I have a 360 and I don't see how a PS3 could possibly be that much better for the money. I am interested in the Wii too. So, I'd probably buy a 360 and a Wii and some games! :D

I would use that $1000 as a downpayment for a PS3 off of eBay. Then I would only have to save up, maybe, a thousand more.

I voted for a Nintendo Wii. I already own a 360 so I would not buy another. I'd then take the remaining $750 and buy some new 360 games, Wii games, Wii legacy games, and some extra controllers for the Wii. I wouldn't even consider a PS3.
