Hi there,
I am uncertain if this idea has been done before, but I think it could work quite well. Basically, if you had to pick one song to recommend to everyone else in the world, what would it be?
I have a broad range in different musical tastes, so, I'm going to pick a few from different music genres. I hope that you will do the same and hopefully this thread will let other people discover new music.
Acoustic - Howie Day - Collide
Punk - Finch - Letters to You
Rock - Muse - Map of the Problematique
The first song I have recommended in not available in the UK iTMS but it well worth the download.

I'm sure there are similar threads, but I'll play along. I'm infatuated with No Doubling Back (iTunes Store link (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?playlistId=21304029&s=143441&i=21304183)) from Jason Mraz right now.
EDIT: Yikes! I don't have that version. I have some acoustic version that is MUCH better. The version I have is from his Sold Out album from 2002.

I've always really liked it too. It manages to be both mournful and nostalgic, qualities that are much appreciated in a bit o' late night listening. :D

Esepcially the Mo' Thugs Remix; this is one of -- if not THE -- best songs of her career. Way ahead of its time.

Without a doubt my favourite song has always been - since I first heard it - Creedence's 'Bad Moon Rising'.
Second would have to be Joy Division's 'Atmosphere'.
Third for quite a while now has been Moby's 'Dream About Me'. My hair stands on end when I listen to that. At least it would if I had any :D
