suggested internal dvd writers for iMac G4?

Also how easy are they to fit?
I'm no computer genius but my flat mate builds his own pc's. How easy would he find it to replace my old cd writer?
Alternatively anyone know of a site that may have some sort of illustrated guide to doing such a job?

More than likely, your best bet is going to be a Pioneer Deck.

They are usually fully bootable for Mac OSX.
