Coz I think that would be quite cool, I'd find things more easily. Are there any apps you can download that can do this, if its not in OSX?

You are right that would be EXTREMELY usefull to me, but alas I really dont think that you can.

Someone prove me wrong PLEASE!

there are some themes that have it i believe. go to versiontracker and download duality 4 gt. then go to homepage.mac.com/max_08 and see if he has any themes that are trans. i know his brushed metal theme is becuase i used it.
