Okay, I've got a 2 year old 4G 20GB that's formatted for windows. Now that I have a Mac, and some songs on my iPod are corrupted, I'm considering reformatting the iPod HD and putting all my current music on it. But I have a question, will a software update be available to make it compatible with iTunes 7 or whatever? And if so, will it work (as I have read about problems with old iPods and new iTunes)? I don't wanna mess it up more than it already is. Thanks.

Edit: Well it's up-to-date, but will reformatting it and filling it up again be alright?
