Wireless Mighty Mouse problems

Hey guys, the long and short of it is this: I got a WMM over the summer and it worked flawlessly until tonight - it will scroll up and the mouse works fine, but it won't scroll down or side to side, so much for 360 scrolling... Any suggestions what to do?

Try rubbing the scroll ball on a piece of paper briskly. There may be debris in there. Sometimes it works. That's one of the problems plagued by the MM, that would always happen to mine.
