I changed the wireless channel on my Wireless Router/ADSL Modem to avoid interference from a neighbour's network that was on the same channel. I also turned off the SSID (which had been off before, but I had turned on at some point and then forgotten to disable).
I used 128-bit hex WEP and only allow specified MAC addresses to access my wireless LAN.
When I boot up now, it says that none of my trusted networks are available and offers another neighbor's network that is not secure. What I keep having to do is say no, then configure the connection manually each time I boot, including putting in the WEP password. What did I do wrong? What can I do to fix this? When I say 'Create Network', it only seems to want to do peer-to-peer.
