Hi,
I am considering purchasing a MBP, but would first like to know if I need new software.
I already have various software such as Adobe inDesign that I use on my Window's machine. Can I use this same software to install on a MBP using Parallels?
Also, can you access your Windows partition when using OSX, and vice versa?

If your license permits installing on more than one machine, and the software is Windows XP compatible, you should be able to install it. Not every program is guaranteed to work however.
The Mac cannot write to an NTFS partition, Windows can neither read nor write a Mac formatted (HFS+) partition. If you want Mac access to the Bootcamp partition, choose FAT32 as its format when setting up Bootcamp.

With MediaFour's MacDrive software, you can at least read and write to the Mac partition from within Windows.
