Well I'm trying to sell my G3 Beige Minitower. Here are the specs on it:
G3 292mhz
320MB PC100 RAM
6.4GB Maxtor HDD
2MB Onboard Video
Built-in 10/100 Ethernet
24x CD-ROM
ZIP100 Drive
ADB Keyboard/Mouse
G3 TOWER SOLD
Now I'd like to keep this local to avoid shipping costs. Looking for about $30 for the machine so I can pay my part of the electric bill ;)
Second, I'm considering selling my Powerbook G3 Lombard. I've pour so much time and money into this thing but I really could use the extra cash. Here are the specs on that:
G3 400mhz
512MB PC133 RAM
6x DVD-ROM (needs a decoder to play DVD movies, reads DVD discs just fine)
14" Screen
BRAND SPANKIN NEW BATTERY that usually gives me about 3 hours worth of charge.
So the G3 Tower is for sale and the Lombard is a feeler at the moment. Just seeing if there's any interest out there.

Nice package on the lombard - wish I could justify it!

What would be the price of the mini tower shipped to 43201. My church is looking for a machine to run a project and this might work. After I do some upgrading and stuff to it of course.
let me know and I will consider it.

Doing some general calculations based on this thing being about 20lbs or so, USPS is giving me around $8 for Parcel Post or $15 for Priority. A lot cheaper than I expected.

i haved both of these type macs before and still own 4 beige g3 in fact. i just have to say that the 400mhz lombard should be able to play dvds just fine because its the 400mhz model. only the 333mhz model and the wallstreet powerbooks had this problem and needed a decoder card because of a lack onboard dvd decoder. the 400mhz model lombard as an onboard dvd decoder. the only reason i can think of for it not working is that you are using a 6x dvd-rom drive which i beleive would have come with the pimsos not the lombards..i remember reading somehwere that the pismo dvd drives(6x) do not work properly with the lombards for dvd playback even with the 400mhz model with dvd decorder hardware on the mobo. just thought i would add in my 2cents here about this.

It's actually a 333mhz model that I threw a 400mhz g3 chip in, so yes, you would need the grab the decoder or a decoder of some sort.
Also I have a local offer on the G3 Beige but not sure if it's going to go through yet so I'll keep anyone in mind who wants to maybe grab it.

**On the Lombard**
I think it should fetch 250-300, judging by the new battery and the DVD Drive (however functional, still a DVD drive). Ebay May even grab 350, but that'l take someone who wants one specifically. The Extra RAM helps though...
hope this helps
