it's tough to use the firmware as a clutch for more money these days...they've hacked basically all of them and you can get it back down to 1.5 unless you upgraded in the past 2 weeks.

I'd say 175-200ish. If it helps any, I bought mine a few months ago for $125 with a 2GB stick.

You upgrade the firmware on it yourself....they arent stuck at a specific version. It's harder to go down than up, but you could update that to 2.82 (I think that's the newest?) in about 5 mins.

Yeah, I can't understand why you would want to upgrade, and then why you wouldn't just upgrade it through the wifi.
