yea it will work just fine, but, if you are not in a super big hurry to get a second drive, I would wait for some of the sales in later November. That price is good, but I got a 320 gig from newegg last month for 10 dollars more. Just a thought...

Yep, as jsw & techster85 point out, that Seagate HDD should work fine in your Mac Pro. :)

I've been a long proponent of Seagate, they have never let me down, but the WD ones are much quiter if you value that (and you should). Also has 16MB cache.
