The logic board on my 500Mhz AGP Powermac server went puke and its a real pain in the ass to find a direct replacement.
The Gigabit ethernet boards are much easier to find, but they use a different power supply which is 22-pin in order to power the ADC connector, the AGP models don't have ADC so they use a 20-pin.
I would much appriciate it if someone had an AGP board for sale at a good price, either that or a Gigabit + power supply bundle.
I've looked all around eBay, but I'd like to try here first.
Thanx,

You sure the CPU daughtercard is working?

I dont think a Gigabit board will work. I thought gigabit boards are for 466, 533 type MHz chips with the 133MHz bus. Maybe i am wrong...

No, but I'm making an educated guess that its the logic board since I can't get any USB device or sound to work (both are parts of the logic board)
Either way its an expensive part to replace, ugh.

You're thinking of the Digital Audio models, they have a 133Mhz bus vs the 100Mhz bus of the AGP and GE, I'm pretty sure I can just swap these two just so long as I can find a power supply to swap along with it, all the designs I've seen seem to indicate that the case is the same, just the internals are different.

Pretty sure, I mean, it could be the CPU, but I'm more than willing to bet that its not.

Ack!
If I'm going to pay that much for one, I better get a power supply for real cheap, I'd like to either get a straight out AGP board or just sell the damn thing, let somebody else with the extra ca$h to mess around with it.

this was a no reserve auction, so 170-190 looks to be the going rate for logic. I wouldn't be surprised either.

Kind of sad, really. My PC motherboard cost $180 with 1.46GHz (1700+) CPU a year ago. Now I see a 2400+ with motherboard for $120 in todays Fry's ad.
Sigh... Premium computers cost premium $.

Well, the auction just ended at $243 which was about $43 more than I was willing to spend, does anyone have an AGP logic board or a 22-pin G4 power supply they'd like to part with??
<sigh>

Or how about a barebones Cube or something similar, no video card, hard drive, processor or RAM, I have all the replacement parts for one, I just need something to put them in!

Okay, I give up, I'll sell the whole thing (including the dead logic board) for $400 including shipping (last time I shipped a G4 tower it cost me about $40)
Any takers?
Just needs a logic board replacement....
Guess not then, oh well, new offer, one last time before I part it out on eBay...
Okay, new offer:
