How can I upgrade from US OS9.1?

My Powerbook G4 runs OS9.1 but it is the US version. I live in the UK. My documents default to US Letter paper size, but we use A4 here. If I try to upgrade to 9.2 I get told that you can't upgrade the US OS with a UK OS. How do I get around this without having to change EVERYTHING?

Try this out...

You may be able to change your default language to UK English. This may or may not solve the problem. Give it a shot. I will continue to research for ya.

Thanks so much for that...I should have thought of it myself! Now it is defaulting to A4 (Small) which is a step up from Letter! Anyone got any ideas for making it (HP Laserjet 1200) default to A4?
