I made a quick time video but iphoto seems to ignore it.
How do I download this from smart card reader to mac?

Can you see your reader on the desktop? If so...just go into it and drag it out....

thanks, that really helped, I was wondering why there is no sound?
Is this normal? Is there something I have to do to get sound on here?

If so, not all digital cameras record sound to the video. Maybe that's the problem.

Try renaming the file extension to .mov

I dont think that will help. 99.9% chance your digital camera cant record sound with its .mpeg video. Sorry bud, but theres nothing you can do.
