I have a pair of 256mb 667mhz sticks laying around that I took out of my 2ghz macbook. The MBP manual says that 512mb is the smallest stick that can be used with the it, but will my 256's work? I dont want to open up my new baby needlessly, so do any of you know if this can be done or not?

Why are you downgrading your comp? At the very least you already have 1gb, so what are you trying to do with 256 sticks?

Eek! What a strange idea.
1GB good, 256MB bad.

Oo, the 1gb ships with a 1x1, I expected a 2x512. My bad, I don't see why it wouldn't work though.
