Wired Mighty Mouse

Hi,

I got a iwred mighty mouse with mt 24" iMac and it seems to be "defective."

Sometimes the scroll ball does not work... It just stops like something is inside messing it up...


Like just yesterday it would not scroll down but it would scroll up....

I know I am applying the proper amount of pressure...

When this happens the ball does not make the clicking noise it just moves silently so I know there is something wrong physically...

Should I get this replaced? Will Apple replace it? It is only a month old...

This is a common issue with the Apple Mighty Mouse. Get a sheet or two of blank white paper, and rub the scroll wheel around on it.

This usually works for me.
