Where am I getting the signal from??

Ok.. this is leaning towards a PC computer more than a mac.....

I currently have an SMC wireless router hooked up in my room... In the living room, I hooked up a Linksys WET11 bridge to catch the SMC signal and use a PC computer...

Here's the thing, the bridge is getting a wireless signal from somewhere else.. It's not using my connection.. How do I know? 1) Cause when someone is using the PC, my "activity" light is not blinking on the modem.. 2) the PC is not listed in my DHCP list.. 3) the ip address is different than what I am giving to my iMac or the other PC that's connected in the next room...

Not sure if this matters, but I have the WET11 hooked up to a 5 port bridge... On the bridge, I have a PS2, XBOX, Gamecube, and the PC hooked up to it...

How can I get info on where I'm getting the wireless signal??

Wont your router settings tell you? (192.168.1.1)

You should be able to see what it is hooked up to.

I listed that in #2 of how I can tell it's not getting the signal from me...

Also, cause I'm not giving the usual xxx.xxx.1.xxx address.. I'm doing xxx.xxx.0.xxx addresses... So, the pc has a 1, not a 0...

Oh sorry, I didnt know it was called DHCP.
