Advanced warfighter on the C2D MBP?

Has anyone played Ghost Recon Advanced warfighter on the C2D MBP? I am interested in how well the higher clocked GPU performs with that game. On my 1.83 MBP it can get pretty choppy in busy firefights and, of all things, the menus! :rolleyes:

(keep in mind that this is the demo I am referring to. Other Ubisoft demos i've tried tend to run far less efficient than the actual game once I buy it... has anyone else experienced that before?)

Also how worth it is it, from a gaming perspective, to get the new 2.33 MBP (256) v. the new 2.16 w/ 128 MB VRAM?

I havent played the pc version first hand, but one of the lads in my xbox 360 clan was saying that the pc version was a terrible conversion and that it did suffer alot of framerate problems (and he was using a dell XPS fully loaded)..
