is there a shortcut for disabling the system sounds? there must be one.

I accidentally disabled all the system sounds.



could someone help me to get them back? thx

Have you tried System Preferences > Sound > Sound Effects?

Ahhh, welcome to the club! QuigleyBC and I have the same issue occasionally - a restart usually fixes it. Also try opening/quitting Garageband to reset CoreAudio (though this doesn't work for me).

I have no idea why it happens, but sometimes it does- sound fx disappear!
Let me know if you magically find a solution :cool:
