I've noticed a stuck pixel on my new nano which I've been finding increasingly annoying. It's been about six weeks since it arrived. Does anyone know if Apple will count this as a defect and replace it?

Come on, a stuck pixel on an iPod nano? It's not a monitor that you spend hours staring at, its something you glance at when deciding what to listen to.

I'd say you have very little chance of getting it replaced as it will be 'within spec' according to Apple, and indeed the majority of companies that use LCDs in their products.

Apple disagreed. It's being picked up for replacement within a couple of days.

That's pretty amazing. I've heard it is really difficult to get anything with only 1 stuck pixel replaced/repaired. They usually make you wait until you have like 4 or something.
