iPod adding movies and tv shows...and NOTHING

Recently, I've tried playing movies in iTunes and it didn't work. To fix this, I tried deleting all my video files from my library and attempt to re-add them back. When I tried re-adding them, nothing appeared in the Movie section or TV Shows section. Any ideas on how to help this? It is greatly appreciated.
 
can someone please help? I tried re-installing iTunes, but that did not work. Any suggestions?
