MS is definitely doing something wrong.

They have people buying MP3s from MSN for two years now and MS's new MP3 player won't play them. Good move.

EDIT: bartelby was first. (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=249403)

Ironic, given their choice to make each "new" OS backwards-compatible with decades-old systems....

yeah, they bult music store after itunes set up. but it's already big mistake, lack of strategy, and shut down itself. now, original site changed to zune.net. MS also purchased Zune.com recently from someone( ). what a pathetic. they named device Zune. but somebody has already owned it.

I wonder if you'll have to activate each song before you can play it.

and get a 30 day warning until you do it

Nah, you'll be able to hack it. Just like every other product they have. :P
