I noticed that when my iMac is just turned on and running for less than half an hour or so, then I hear only a slight slight whir from the fan right behind the isight camera it seems.
When things get little busy and warmer, I notice a slight higher pitched whir coming from the upper left side - kind of like right in between the edge of the computer and the isight camera....is there a second fan in there? What is making the 2nd sound? Sometimes it stops and sometimes its always there. I only hear it if I put my ear next to it and have no music or TV on. I have no interest in getting it repaired as it runs flawlessly otherwise and I dont have any dead pixels or screen brightness hum.
I am just curious for my own information.
