reinstall websharing???!!!!

nobody would help me in the mac os x forum, so i thought somebody might help me here....


somehow my personal web sharing got unistalled, in the sharing prefs, it says...

"Web Sharing is not installed on this computer. To install Web Sharing, use the Mac OS X installer."

i dont see how to intall it from the mac os x installtion CD i have! could somebody help me!

PS:i tried the software update app, didnt work - and the apple support page..

i have a site for family and friends with it, please help!

well, i got the appache source code from the apple download site, and configured it, could somebody tell me how to install/compile it? please, im desprate

Use pacifist (http://www.charlessoft.com/) to install just the websharing package from the osx install cd.
