i need to get a copy of WinXP for law school exams, and clearly would like to send as little money to microsoft as possible. does anyone know of any rebates or cheap deals right now?

I just bought a full version (not an upgrade) of XP Pro for about $90 from a seller I found via pricegrabber.com.

As I understand it, the upgrade coupon will only work if you buy a PC with XP preloaded. Newegg.com isn't quite telling the truth...

You may have already tried this, but have you checked with your school bookstore/education software vendor? My college offers XP + service pack 2 for $10.
