A lawsuit in Germany will seek a criminal prosecution of the outgoing Defense Secretary and other U.S. officials for their alleged role in abuses at Abu Ghraib and Gitmo

oops, don't know how i missed this thread.
anyway, i'm really curious to see what legal (or not) measures are taken to protect rumsfeld and others.
maybe the dems don't even have to decide how hard to pursue investigations, maybe the germans will do it for them.

I can only wonder when did Torture become a tool of the U.S. and who ordered this one? Our missing from vietnam Hero's Bush & Cheney? or old 1943 Rumsfeld? How could we start using torture when its very clear its against our laws, beliefs and morals. A missing Congress is one reason I know but someone had to give the military the OK. I would guess Cheney,afterall it was his boys who outed a CIA agent. So if he can do that im sure anything is possible.

What a joke(not the actual torture), but the idea that somebody actually thinks something will come of this.
