Hey all you political macheads!
As some play fansasy football, some baseball, some basketball, we play fantasy congress. Anyway, I created a league for MR members. PM me for the details on accesing the league and the password. There's a lot of traffic on the site, so our league hasn't been verified or anything yet, but anyway, I should have everything set up before monday. Good luck to all!

Here it is:
We The Creators of this site, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish Fantasy Congress for the United States of America.
In this game, we give you the power to draft and manage a team of members from the U.S. Congress. Enjoy our gift to you, o great nation: the power to play politics!™
- The Fantasy Congress Team
To put it simply, create an account, join a league, draft a team of real U.S. Members of Congress and have fun as you compete to score as many points as possible. As the Members of Congress you drafted put real legislation through the lawmaking process they will score points for your team.
Like other sports, Fantasy Congress requires three things: a team, a system of scoring points, and a framework within which players can score. In this game, your team is a group of U.S. National Congress legislators, the legislators score points by pushing bills through the steps to create a law, and the framework within which they play is Congress itself.
How to get started:
Create an account and become a Citizen and manage Members of Congress (MCs).
Join a league. When you join a league, you receive an empty team, ready for you to fill with players.
Draft your team and make sure the league manager activates the league.
Check the site regularly as your members of congress earn points for you.
At the end of the season, the Citizen with the most points wins. To accrue the highest number of points, use your political savvy to decide which when MCs should be playing and when they should be benched.
MCs differ - sometimes dramatically - in how and if they can push legislation through Congress. Thus, choose wisely.
For now, your most immediate choice is this: either read on for just a few minutes more to gain a deeper glimpse into the game and how to draft your team, or register and draft your team immediately.
