I've been searching for a dual sata drive kit that has a 3 gig throughput and haven't found one for my new (arriving Wed.) 17" MacBook Pro. I was hoping someone here has a suggestion? I'll be using the drives through the expresscard 34 slot. My express card is 3 gig throughput and the seagate 7200.10 drives are 3 gig throughput.:(

Have you considered the FirmTek (http://www.firmtek.com) 2EN/2 dual-bay eSATA 3Gbps enclosure?

I use one and couldn't be happier. I have 2x SATA 3Gbps drives in it in a RAID 0 and both eSATA cables attached to their 2SM2-E ExpressCard/34.
