I just received an email from amazon about some sales and what not. But then I saw this

and I was like, WTF :confused:. I clicked on the linked image and it came up with the Core Duo mini !!

Maybe, but I'm convinced they won't be updated anymore in 2006.

u won't see the mini updated b/c it's supposed to be a lower end system. u won't see any big improvements if u just introduced a core 2 duo. u also need to improve the hardware around it.
there's no use having a better "head" if ur arms and legs can't do what u ask them to.

They will get the upgrade treatment sooner or later, but not until early next year (I think).

The Mini will probably be updated to C2D when the Quad Core chips start to come through. That will mean the chips can all shuffle up a notch and the mini will get some more firepower; maybe 1.83GHz instead of 1.66GHz.
