What's Wrong W Camorder?

My camcorder plays Mini-DV tapes fine, and I can turn it on and off, eject the tape, etc., but when I try and film anything, the viewfinder and LCD give me this wierd picture. When I move the camera, I noticed the camera is picking up something, but the image is VERY blurred, obscured, stretched, etc.

Funny thing, it will show me a clear, normal picture for about 10 seconds at random intervals. I connected it to my MacBook and Grabbed a pic for a better explanation....

Does anyone have any idea what is wrong with it? Thanks so much for any help.. :)

Something must be damaged internally. I'd get it checked on.

Yikes, really? That sucks... I hope it'll fix itself! Lol. I remember it doing this before (a couple weeks ago), but it eventually went away... Well, I hope it'll get better. Thanks for the help man. ;-)
