Fun game just keeps getting better. AI is tougher than you expect. Low sys requirements. Reminiscent of the old Warlords games (if anyone else goes back that far).

Is this a baking game?

It should be ROLE Playing!

Roll playing is what I do when I grab my midsection!

I'm not much into RPGs... can anyone in the know give a quick summary of the difference between single-player Wesnoth and Moria or Angband? Or between Wesnoth and Icewind Dale/Baldur's Gate? (Because those I do understand so they're my frame of reference!) Is this deep-story-based or mainly about building up stats? Does it have an arcade element or is it all "by the dice"? Is it really an RPG? It looks more like RTS.

TIA

(I'll make time to try the tutorial sometime too.)

I was always told not to play with my food. Has that rule changed now?

I played quite a bit of Wesnoth in earlier iterations. It's a good game, especially for the money. The biggest issue IMO is/was the quality of the campaigns. Only one was worth playing; the others were either dull, contrived, or virtually impossible to win (or so I found).

Definitely looks like Warlords. I like turn based games and will definitely check this out. Thanks for the link.

This is fantasy turn-based strategy with a tiny bit of role playing.

What I wish someone would do is use the Wesnoth engine to make a Mac OS X native Panzer General. Come on, it's got the hexagonal grid!
