I have an iMac Rev. B (Or maybe A, I'm not sure which, but it's either A or B) that's been lying in my basement for a long time, and I was wondering if there are any good uses for it or mods? It is currently running OS 8.5, as I'm scared to try to run OS X on it. Would it serve any purpose in the future, such as running a server or anything, or should I just leave it there to die. It would be cool to have a use for it as it looks cool. :D Thanks!

Hmm, sound cool is this one of those first gen iMacs? with a CRT screen? Set it up as a home server maybe?

The old cliche fish tank comes to mind if you are afraid to plug it in.

If you are daring, this (http://www.macmod.com/content/view/155/192/) is really cool, but not very cost effective. you could do it with the basic parts and some tools but it wouldn't look as cool. Just thought that it was a very creative use for an old iMac.
