New Hard Drive

Hi, I'm getting a new Hard Drive for an iBook and I was wondering, do I have to buy the Mac OS X program or can I just use the restore disc that came with the iBook??

IIRC the "restore" cd is actually a full install cd.

oh cool. so if i just put that in while the computer boots up, it knows what to do??

There will be a wizard that guides yo through the configuration of your iBook. It will restore your machine to factory defaults.
