New Firmware Update Macbook

I swear my macbook is acting up since I did the update. I'm sure that when in sleep mode if you open the lid it wakes the display?

Now I have to press a key on the keyboard.

It also wouldn't wake from sleep mode once. Had to hold power button to restart it.

Anybody else experience this kinda issue? Any way to reverse the update?

The lid has to be shut for about 10 seconds to first let it sleep and then it will wake up when you open the lid.
