is it possible to have my imac be the secondary display? or use it as a moniter for other things?

The only way for video to come into the iMac is through firewire. I'm not even sure if it would be possible to set up. As far as I know, the only way to set it up as a monitor would be to take it apart and rewire it so you can unplug the screen from the iMac computer and plug it into another computer. Not worth doing. It makes for a pretty expensive 2nd monitor.
