Got to feed those capitalistic desires!

I am seriously considering going and camping put for a PS3 tonight. The line near me isn't that bad. Anyway, If I do it it needs to be worth my while :cool: ;)

So... who wants one? (or two, i plan on strategically placing another family member in line.)

The going price here seems to be the $1200 mark or thereabouts.

Let me know. :cool:

You shoudl probably get in line, or should have gotten a preorder, as you will more than likely not get one, as you are only about to start camping out. Somewhere it was projected that there are supposed to be ~3 at each store. But you could be lucky. Let us know if/when you get it.

Thanks. I, personally, have little use for one (except the Blu-Ray player) so I'm betting on selling it for a profit ( IF I get one. :cool: )

you probably shouldn't try selling one until you already HAVE one.. because chances are, you won't be getting one.

I passed by the BestBuy in W. Lebanon, NH yesterday at noon and there was already a line of ~30 people. And last night it POURED. I mean, like hurricane, rain and wind. For hours. Those people that actually got a PS3 damn well paid for it. I bet they've all got the flu. :D

Thats why its a FEELER. ;)

I' was trying to see how much I could theoretically sell one for in the off chance my local retailer has one for me.

Wish me a big bunch of luck, i'm going now.

Well you could theoretically make a bunchload. On eBay they're going for near or over $3000.. and that may go up if there isn't another shipment in time for christmas. But, the REASON they're going for that much is because it's so hard to get your hands on one. The other person selling one of the premium's on here has been sitting out for one since Wednesday. It's not as easy as just strolling into your local gaming shop and picking one up. If it was, no one would be paying a premium for them.

Well... for everyone who thought I wouldn't get one... you were right.

But!!!

It was (literally) my turn to go to the counter and they ran out right then and there. :(

If only I had woken up :30 min earlier. :o

There's always a second shipment! ;)

EDIT: (apparently some people had already gotten one at wal-mart, then came over to target, cut in line, and got away with it. :mad: :mad: :mad: )

It's ok. I'm in a similar boat. I told myself when I saw the outrageous prices teh XBox 360 was going for, that I would wait in line no matter what for the PS3. Well, I was too tired/lazy/etc...or I just have a life and I'm out probably a few grand myself. There's always PS4!!!
