Well, I was able to get another PlayStation 3. This is the 60GB Premium Version. It comes with Talladega Nights (Blu Ray DVD) and Resistance:Fall of Man PS3 Game.

Let me know if anyone is interested. These are selling for $4000+ on ebay but ebay makes me nervous so I'm trying to sell locally and on here. I have pictures of the system if anyone would like me to send them some.

I have sold several things on macrumors and I am a trusted seller. I will only sell to someone after talking with them on the phone and I would prefer if you had some history with Macrumors. I have been around for over 3 years and I would like to deal with someone who I recognize. Email me or PM me.

I PMed him, and he's looking for something over $2,000, telling me that he turned a guy down who offered him that much cash...I guess a little more than I was willing to spend :rolleyes:

Your right, I did tell you that. If you would like his phone number here in Georgia I can give it to you. I went to Sun Trust Bank and he withdrew $8000 and he plans on buying 4-5 systems today. I sold him my 20 GB, I received cash and he offered me $2000 for my 60GB. He is planning on reselling all of his and making a profit. I told him no thank you I was looking to get more for it.

These are selling for $3000 up to $7000.

Veritas informed me the only people bidding that much were people with 0 and no ebay feedback. The links below are the last 4 ebay auctions to close. I did not pick and choose. Those were really the last four (in order of the time when I copied and pasted them) off of ebay. The people buying these are legitimate buyers with numerous positive feedback scores.

Yes, I'm asking for more than $2000 (obviously because I turned down cash this morning) and I'm expecting around $2500. That price is well below the going price on ebay.

I stand corrected...the previous systems I saw had the characteristics of what I described...people sick of the ridiculous going rate signed up with names like "ihategreedypeople" who have 0 feedback and were winning auctions, but it seems the one's you listed were legit.

Veritas I appreciate your honesty. I have seen a couple with people like you are mentioning. Those have gone for 10,000 but the real sales of 3000-5000 are legit sales from (what seems to be) honest people.

The guy I sold my first one to today paid a pretty penny and he is turning right back around and selling it and making a profit on it. So, some people are buying them just to sell them. Europe won't be getting any until March and I bet there are some people over there willing to shell out a ton of money.

My brother got it for me. I got one he got the other.

But I payed for both of them. Well he paid initially and I paid him back with a check. It was my idea to get them so he only wanted a small "helping out" fee. :)
