I am looking for some good system monitoring applications, on my MacBook I have iStat and Coconut Battery, but when I downloaded them for my iBook they don't work. I noticed that both needed 10.4 and I only have 10.3(.9). Does anyone know and good substitutions that I could use.

X Resource Graph is another good monitoring app for PPC Macs. I don't think this will work with your iBook for things like temperature. The G3 Processor as far as I know, doesn't have any temperature monitors built into it like some of the G4's and G5's for apps like these to feed off from.

A beta version of this app is available for both PPC and Intel Macs:

thats for the links, x resource is pretty good along with a couple of apps from the first page. Still trying to figure out how much battery life compared to original.
