Don't 1st generation iPods usually sell around this price? I think it's a fair deal, for sure, but definitely not hugely underpriced...

yeah, 1st gens usually sell for around 50-80 and that one has damage on the top, you're thinking of a mint condition one.

dibs on the usb to dock cable. I'm not completely sure though.

Are the ipod headphones the ones that are redesigned?

I always thought 1st gen NON-working ipods went for about 40 dollars. SO I would expect one in OK condition WORKING to go for about 150. At least that's what I saw on the forum about a year ago.

Would you be willing to part with the iPod firewire cable separately?

And besides the external condition, how does the iPod work? Does it hold a good charge? has it been dropped a lot, or ever give you any trouble?

Do you have the box or original CD that it came with?

Here you go. It is pretty small...too tight for me and I like to wear small shirts.

Let me know about the cable. The iPod headphones are the original ones.

The iPod works very good for how old it is. The only damage is a piece of the headphone jack is chipped off (which doesnt affect performance) and the hairline cracks on the top...plus the obvious scratching. Nothing serious and the pictures make it look worse than it is. It plays well and holds a good charge. The last time I tested it was probably Nov. 4th, I charged it up to approximately 3/4 capacity and it shuffled songs for quite a while, at least a couple hours. I would rather keep the firewire cable and wall charger with the iPod, unless other parties are interested then I could break it up. I dont have the original box or cd.

The general apple store opening shirts are a size XL. However, this particular fifth ave shirt does not have a size as shown in the pics. As an owner of standard Apple Opening shirts and a fifth avenue opening shirt, I can safely say that the Fifth Avenue shirt is slightly smaller than the XL standard shirts. I would say it is in between a large and a XL.

The nano shirt is a medium...I'd say it wears on the smaller side.
I can post pics of this when I get home from work this afternoon.

The Columbia Maryland Apple Store Grand Opening shirt is still sealed in the box. However all Apple Grand Opening shirts are black in color and size XL. The shirt says "Columbia" on the front with an apple logo next to it. Here is a pic of the shirts sealed in the box.

Wow... I was thinking, I wonder how much an unopened 1st gen iPod will be worth in 10 years?

I can only imagine! I know one went on ebay a few months back for a little over 1000$.
