Hello-
I have a Playstation 3. It's the 20 gig version. I got it for my birthday today. I would rather have the 60 gig version so I am looking to sell this. Not sure how much to ask for it. They are going on ebay for over $1000. I have perfect feedback on ebay under rhelfrey 111+ and I have done numbours transactions on this board. I would like to accept paypal only for this transaction. I am also up for trades if you have anything good. PM me with your offers or trades. Thanks for looking.
First $700 get's it.

The prices on eBay have really come down since the frenzy yesterday. The 60 GB premium versions are holding steady for around $1,200-1,300 on eBay through this morning/afternoon....to which yours is obviously worth less b/c it's the 20 gb version...

using it killed its retail value.. at least IMO.

with this kind of shortage, the retail value might have dropped, but the laws of supply and demand probably will be keeping the system worth more then its retail price

No, i agree it's still over retail, but he probably lost quite a bit. On eBay his would be passed over by many for those still sealed and new. Consider the fact that many people are buying these as gifts.. if the person buying the gift has enough to paying the inflated prices in the first place, then he's probably not on much of a budget..

So it has been opened? How much are these in shops? I'll give you £20-40 less because it has been opened. Powered on and we're venturing into 2nd hand land.

He mentioned in another forum that he played it for a few hours...so you'd be looking at maybe $450 for this. Assuming the market takes a chill pill and people realize the PS3 isn't worth more than retail.

yeah i would rather not ebay it. i don't wanna lose the money towards the fees and all. i would rather sell it here for cheaper than have it go for the fees.
